Here’s an idea! Lizards look just like miniature versions of what scientists portray dinosaurs to have looked like.

Reptiles continue to grow throughout their entire lives. Currently, one of the largest reptiles known is the leatherback sea turtle , growing up to 8 feet long and weighing upwards of 1500 pounds. According to this site

A few bones have been found that the scientists believe are from a ‘sea monster’. Looking at this site, it is easy to see that they are using only a few bones to guess at the rest of the skeleton. But, if they are right about the creatures appearance, it looks remarkably like a turtle, estimated at 50 feet long!
